Day Fifteen! Chicago
We got to sleep in today, as we were already in Chicago after the game yesterday and we had a night game.
My dad took me sightseeing in Chicago for a little bit.
We played throw in the park for a while there too, and stopped by the Nutella store for a Nutella Gelato! Yummy!
Chicago is a big city! My dad said it looks very “Gothic”. Some stones of this building came from all over the world! The big piece I’m standing next to here was from the Great Pyramid in Egypt!! There were also pieces from Ankor in Cambodia and even St Peters in Rome!
We took the “L”, which is what people in Chicago call their trains, to Guaranteed Rate Field. It was easy to get there! The stadium has lots of places for Kids. I joined the White Sox Kids Club too! They have a running track, to see if you can run faster than a player. Some batting cages and pitching practice games!
My dad got me and him some White Sox jersyes, they are the city connect style with “Southside” written on the front. I love mine!
We watched the Rangers play the White Sox. Unfortunately, the White Sox lost. This seems to happen a lot, that the home team has been losing during our trip!
This stadium has fireworks when a home team player scores a home run, it was really cool!
We still need to come back to Chicago again to go to Wrigley Field. I can’t wait to visit again!
Next stop, Minneapolis!
Bye Bye!
