Day Eleven! Houston!

We landed in Houston and headed straight to N.A.S.A!

It was fun to see the rockets and exhibits at the Space Center! We learned about the early missions to space, the first space station, skylab, missions to the moon and future missions to Mars!

I got to see how big the Saturn V rocket is! My dad has a Lego set of it. The part of the Saturn V that people went in, is so small compared to the rest of it! It has three stages, the first two are so much bigger than the final one! It used a lot of energy to get things into space!

We also saw a Space Shuttle on top of an old Airplane!

We then headed over to Minute Maid Park, home of the Astros! I was very happy because I got to see an old friend who I haven’t seen for two years! They came to the game with us!

At Minute Maid Park

There is a train above the left field at the stadium. It blows its whistle and moves forward and backwards on its track when the Astros score a home run! The game was very slow though. Almost no runs were scored, there was only one home-run scored by the Nationals in the 9th inning, and the Astros also only scored one run in the 9th inning too. In extra-innings, the Nationals scored another three runs and the Astros ended up losing.

I’ll upload a video of the day soon!

We are flying to Dallas for a Texas Rangers game soon!

Bye Bye!
