Day Ten! Baltimore!

After the Yankees win at Citi Field, we went to Washington DC in the morning, to go to the game at Baltimore Camden Yards. My dad said we went to Washington DC because we had to fly out of the airport in the early morning, so it made more sense to go there first.

Flying into Washington is always fun. We get to see many sites while landing!

Here we saw the Washington Monument out the left side of the plane and the Pentagon on the right side of the plane.

I’ve been to Washington DC before, but it was too hot so I didn’t get to see all the monuments. Because it was a lot cooler today, we went to see the Lincoln Memorial, which is one I didn’t see last time!

We then drove to Camden Yards in Baltimore. Oriole Park at Camden Yards was built to revive the Baseball Stadiums of old days. A lot of baseball stadiums were built in the 1960’s and weren’t close to anything. Stadiums like Dodgers Stadium. However, these stadiums don’t have any life, so they started to be built in Downtown locations and Camden Yards is what started this!

Camden Yards had lots of things for Kids! There was a playground, a jumpy house, and some other games. I won some baseball cards and got some free O’s gear too!

Camden Yards is a bit old now though. The video screen was old and not good quality, and some of the seats don’t have the best view of the stadium, though I still loved visiting!

I’ll update with my video soon!

Tomorrow we are going to Texas for two games, the first one being the Astros!

Bye Bye!
