We arrived in St Louis in the early morning from Detroit, to see the Cardinals play!
Because we arrived early, we had time to see some sights, so my Dad too me to the Gateway Arch and the Mississippi River.
The Arch is so high! The photos cannot express how tall it is. It’s over 600 ft tall! I think its taller than any of the buildings in St Louis.
We went into Busch Stadium, and each got an Albert Pujols Jersey! I was so excited for this give-away, I’m still even wearing it now! Did you know the Pujols is one of the all-time Home Run leaders?! One of a few with over 700 carrer Home Runs. I’ve only hit 6 myself, I hope I can catch up!
We met one of my Dad’s colleagues at the game. The game wasn’t going well for the Cardinals, but thankfully before the end, they managed to hit two home runs! The fireworks from their home-runs were great!
Sadly though, the Cardinals lost. This was the third time on the trip, that the home team did not win. With the Giants, D-Backs and Reds winning their away games.

We are going to PNC Park tomorrow in Pittsburgh to see the Pirates! The Pirates was my little league team and they have a Little League day, so we’ll get to go on the field before the game. I’m excited! And my Dad is excited as he thinks PNC park will be one of the best.
